I Sized You Up The Moment We Met

13 September 2013

Jumper - Zara
Vest Top - Promod
Skirt - H&M
Earrings - Swarovski
Shoes - Dolce & Gabbana

I think this may the very first proper smile on record on this blog since its beginning... It's not that I don't smile but I'm usually concentrating on angles and making sure there's enough clear shots of the outfit during an outfit photo taking session, so I get very wrapped up in that and forget to think about how my face looks, so instead you all get my natural resting bitch face, or my intense concentration frown. Neither of which is particularly great.

Anyway, on to the outfit. I may be smiling with the sheer joy of being able to actually wear it - this skirt and jumper have been hanging on the back of my door waiting to be worn for almost a whole week now but I was determined they wouldn't get worn till I had actually filmed my haul for you tube with them, as I think it looks so much nicer when the items in a haul video are fresh with labels attached - #bloggerproblems

I finally did get to air them out last night though for a dinner date with S, though I think with tights and flat shoes this could be really daytime appropriate as well. We headed to Grill On The Corner, which is oretty much a Glasgow institution and very worth checking out if you're around. Sadly my phone died so there are no jealously/drool inducing food photos - which is maybe just as well, as now I'm back to the reality of #sweatember (anyone else doing it and wanting to die?!) and trying to be on some form of diet before I head to Florida in December and stuff myself with all the American foods and American sized portions possible and become one of those people who can't lie down on a bed as the weight of their own body would crush their heart.

Hopefully not.

Just on a side note, I can't find either the skirt or the jumper online, but they are both recent purchases and are both available in stores, just not online. Don't Zara and H&M seem to have the worst websites?!
